Dr. Isabelle Audet is happy to announce the opening of her new practice in Lafayette, Colorado. Dr. Audet has practiced general and trauma surgery in Michigan since completing her residency at Abington Memorial Hospital in Philadelphia in 1999. In order to pursue a more active lifestyle with her family, Dr. Audet moved to Colorado in 2010.
Dr. Audet has always focused her practice of surgery on integrating exceptional surgical skills with a plain spoken approach to patient care. At Flatirons Surgical Specialists, Dr. Audet practices evidence-based medicine to provide her patients with the most current and effective treatments. She utilizes minimally invasive techniques to minimize scarring, optimize cosmetic results and reduce recovery time.
Throughout her career, Dr. Audet has been recognized for her exemplary bedside manner and ability to explain to her patients and their families the various options for treating the patient's condition. The treatment of patients as real people and not just another operation is the hallmark of her practice. Recognizing that any operation is "major" to the patient, Dr. Audet always considers non-surgical options first.
